Medikal ozon tedavisi , özel  cihazlarla  saf ozon ile saf oksijen karışıtıralarak elde edilen çeşitli yöntemlerle uygulanan giderek  kullanım yaygınlığı artan tamamlayıcı bir tedavi yöntemidir.

Ozonterapi hastalığa göre değişik tekniklerle uygulanabilmektedir. Bunlar;

Major otohemoterapi: Hastadan 50 ila 100 cc arasında kan özel ozon şişelerinin içine alınır ve ozonlanır. Ardından damar yoluyla tekrar geri verilir.

Minor otohemoterapi:  Hastadan 5  ila 10 cc arasından kan alınır ve ozonlanır. Ozonlanan kan omuz veya kalçadan kas içine enjekte edilir.

Cilt altı: Özellikle iyileşmeyen yaraların tedavisinde kullanılan bu yöntemde ozon cilt altına direkt verilir.

Torbalama: Genellikle diyabet ayak yaraları, gangren gibi durumlarda bölge torba ile sarılır ve ozon gazında bekletilir.

Rektal yolla: Özellikle bağırsak problemi olan hastalarda tercih edilen bu yöntemde kan alınması gerekmez. Özel bir aplikatör yardımıyla ozon gazı rektal yoldan iletilir.
